What are ARCs?
They are advanced reader's copies of new books that have yet to be released. They are distributed to bloggers, librarians, book conferences, and book stores in order to bring hype to the novel before it's release, giving it positive reviews so people will be interested in purchasing the book, in order to see what all the HUBBUB was about. It's a business tactic to get an established selling ground when it releases.
